PINO'

Designed to carry out different functions and meet as many needs , PINÓ is born from ingenuity of two aspiring architects. Thanks to its simplicity and dynamism, the Wooden Puppet of the famous tale inspired a new concept of stool.

PINÓ  is seat and side table at different heights thanks to the three modular wooden legs, which can be lengthened and shortened just like Pinocchio's nose.

With just a simple gesture, an element is screwed in the other, allowing the whole structure to rise up to 72cm. On the other hand, the "short-legs lies ", to 53 cm off the ground, work as seat or side table as needed , and the three removed parts can be stowed in the seat/container. The covering component that accomplish PINÓ 's design is made of wood and leather. With its simple rotation, the stool can be transformed into a side table, using the wooden base, or into a comfortable seat with the leather side.

« – Che nome gli metterò? – disse tra sé e sé. – Lo voglio chiamar PINÔcchio. Questo nome gli porterà fortuna. Ho conosciuto una famiglia intera di PINÓcchi: PINÓcchio il padre, PINÓcchia la madre e PINÓcchi i ragazzi, e tutti se la passavano bene. Il più ricco di loro chiedeva l'elemosina. – »

Ideato per accogliere diverse funzioni e soddisfare altrettante necessità, PINÓ nasce dall'ingegno di due aspiranti Architetti. Il Burattino di legno del famoso racconto ha ispirato, grazie alla sua semplicità e dinamicità, un nuovo concept di sgabello.

PINÓ é seduta e appoggio a diverse altezze grazie alle tre gambe in legno componibili che possono allungarsi e accorciarsi proprio come in naso di Pinocchio. In un semplice gesto le due parti si avvitano permettendo a tutta la struttura di sollevarsi a 72cm. Le “bugie dalle gambe corte”, a 53 cm, fungono invece da seduta o appoggio a seconda delle necessità, ed i 3 pezzi smontati possono essere riposti nella seduta/contenitore. L'elemento di copertura che ultima il design di PINÓ é in legno e pelle.

Con una sua semplice rotazione lo si trasforma in tavolino, utilizzando la base in legno, o in confortevole sgabello con il lato in pelle.
