On a beautiful cliff covered with flowers, right on the border of the nature reserve of Beit She'arim, built a couple and four of their children,' their home.

It was clear from the outset that the building and its surroundings will merged together.  The objective was to create a  living experience in the heart of nature.

The House, about 250sqm was built on a 1000sqm of land. However, since the plot is situated on a cliff, were significant height difference between the beginning and the end.   To overcome the difference of height, the House was built in a cascading terraces open to nature.  From the front it looks like a single-story house, but in fact, it has  two story floor.

The House contains a stone canopy structure containing children's bedrooms and another residential unit on the ground floor. A floating roof closed with high glass windows is strongly open to the landscape. The approach to the House is through a private path.

The stone cladding of the building simulates the historical remains of stone structures found in the nearby archaeological site where the major Jewish settlement lived during the second Temple period.

On the ground floor, which contains the public spaces with a high and powerful ceilings.   Since the House bordering the  reserve with total privacy, space could be created very exposed.  The open space contains the kitchen, dining area and living room. Through the Windows, there is a sense of living within the landscape.

The tenants who really loves white spaces and clear style, choose contrasting colors of furniture in black and white.  The contrast between the wild nature of the exposed nature outside, creates an interesting connection..

The master bedroom was designed as a private individual unit in the roof space above the adjacent public spaces. The pampered and spacious room with exposed wooden ceiling and balcony overlooking the pool and the view is designed as an exclusive and relaxing zimer, with parquet floors and furnished in a classic style and bright colors.

The backyard is covered in natural stone.  A large part of it is the swimming pool which design produces a feeling it slips into the reserve.   While you're out in the garden  you feel like the house is settled on the river spills into the nature
