The initial sketch of the Art Centre, which spreads over six floors, was of a simple glass cube which in this design becomes a complex building with large windows and a terrace on different levels.
In order to integrate into both the landscape and the existing Gate Gallery the project has been designed as a covered square with a glass roof and also to become a garden house.
The new gallery on the second level is a small square with large windows which light the gallery below, (80 m2) and also via them the exhibition space becomes a huge show-case in which future sculptures or pictures can be observed from an unusual and different point of view.
The floor of the main gallery has been designed to be the roof of the terrace and is a large area where the North and West walls are in concrete and the East and the South walls are wood-glass elements in order to observe the outdoors.

The suspension volume on the 3rd level is the main gallery, (100 m2), on the 4th level the work space and on the 5th level the dance studio, these should be interpreted not only as an architectural volume with its walls, windows, terraces and accommodation, but also as a contemporary sculpture which connects the Past of the city with its Future and the new form of art.
