This apartment, a penthouse with a wonderful view of Barra da Tijuca Beach in Rio de Janeiro, was completely designed as new. The old apartment was demolished and was totally rebuilt in accordance with the demands and expectations of the owners.
We put in a new steel structure complementary to the existing concrete structure to support a large pool on the rooftop.
The free-standing wooden furniture is by Brazilian designers and all the bespoke built-in wooden furniture was designed by us.
The apartment is blessed with abundant natural light which was the inspiration behind our choice of bright, light colors, cool ceramic floor tiles and a beach vibe.
