The classic among the oak chairs is made of 100% oak barrels.
The frame is comprised of wood taken from barrel bottoms.
Some vintners burn their signature into the barrels and because of the letter puzzle on
the chair frame, you can tell which vintner you are sitting on. The seat and back
are stained in a reddish tone. The seat backs are taken from the barrel staves,
so some have the bunghole filler opening.

The color of the oak is from the toasting (firing) and storage of red wine.
The frame is made of birch plywood, laminated on both sides with white melamine.
