Competition for a beach house renovation in East Lime, USA - third place.
"By removing the walls that separate the kitchen from the living area, this house gains a new, open and fluid character. The social area of the house (kitchen, dining area, living area and office) is now a generous open space, without barriers, profiting the most of the window views and natural lighting. A sliding door is proposed to close the office area when privacy is required. The entrance to the main bedroom is re-arranged in order to maximize the social area of the house, and to create a new walk-in closet connected to the main bathroom."
