The design of &Company Resto Bar uses a ribbon of plasma-cut steel to create a central axis through the multiple spaces in this building. The custom designed ribbon, with a random pattern of straight lines, begins above the front entrance as the main sign, folds inside to become the ceiling of the entrance foyer, and turns to continue through the restaurant, creasing again to pass through the central fireplace.  The pattern becomes a major part of the branding of the restaurant, repeating itself behind the two bars and on the menus. Lit from behind, the steel piece throws a pattern of light and dark onto the surrounding surfaces, connecting the upper dining area with the lower dance floor.
