This formal chic garden in Holland Park was commissioned by a couple who wanted an elegant outdoor space to organise parties and to entertain friends and colleagues. A stilted hedge of hornbeams and an iroko fence mounted on top of the existing boundary wall ensure privacy to the garden, whereas mixed borders of perennials and of yew hedges extend its seasonal interest. A water feature and an exotic sculpture function as the main focal points of the garden from the house.
