In this renovation, EDA's idea for this art collector's apartment is to create an hybrid between an art gallery and an open space living area. The entrance door leads to a winding hallway that doubles as exhibition space for the owner's art collection, and it leads to a wide, open space where the kitchen, dining and living area are merged together. A central, open fireplace functions as a permeable division between the areas. The bathrooms and bedrooms are tucked into the corners between the gallery and the open space.
