Ashes and Snow is ongoing exhibition that starts in 2002. The first is held in the Arsenale of Venice (IT) entirerly dedicated to the photographic work of Gregory Colbert. The Exhibition design is assigned to Ombra Bruno.
After this first experience, Colbert with Architect Shigeru Ban creates the Nomadic Museum, assigning the interior and exhibition design of Ashes and Snow to Ombra Bruno and Officina di Architettura.
The Nomadic Museum is built for the first time in 2005 on Pier 54, N.Y.C., and then in Santa Monica, L.A., and ultimately in 2007 in Tokyo.
