The land is located in a residential area in the city of Guadalajara, on a hillside at the center of two ravines, resulting an area of whimsical shapes and topographies. These aspects coupled with the regulations of the area provided a natural platform and solve the challenges of the design plan by arranging two rectangular volumes. One horizontal overlapping the other, generating a large cantilever, which marks the entrance to the house while creating a fluid overhanging structure for the garage. This prominent access level then opens into the entrance hall, family room and guest room.

The large volume that remains suspended, contains the private areas of the house. This volume has one side that runs along the façade, parallel to the street, allowing the utilization of metal louvers to control the views and lighting. As a result of the horizontal nature of the space, the 4 bedrooms have natural ventilation and lighting, as well as providing exquisite views of the canyons.

The other volume is set at ground level, on the same slope and foundation as the house. This is designed to accommodate social activities by offering full access to the inspiring spaces of the garden. This central garden level, makes particularly good use of the easement areas: its independent access creates a seamless connection to the cellars, garages and room service provisions.
