This house is located in a residential area right next to the national forest, and one side of the site is facing a dead-end street. In this location, you can enjoy season’s transition by watching the seasonal colors of the leaves in the forest, while staying in the house.

Therefore, one of the main client requests is “feeling the nature without disturbing its scenery and no interruption by the neighbors”.

Our answer to them, we planned the design that each four room section was placed in zigzag-shaped line, so that the clients could enjoy its scenery in every room from different angles in various ways, without interrupting each room feature or the view, and furthermore, all the main windows are facing the forest, so as not to worry about the neighbors’ looks.

The four kinds of sceneries are, one from the carport, the second from a big window in the entrance, the third from a series of windows in the dining room, and finally, from the living room…

These different views from the house enables the residents to spend daily life comfortably and meaningfully, as if they are in a resort place even though it is built in an ordinal residential area.
