To organize a small cozy square between tall buildings, we chose a shape of amphitheater. The pond with white pebbles “The White Pond” plays a role of scene, there are 33 round thujas instead of audience and round pavement terraces with seats go around the landscape that slopes down to the pound. Nowadays the garden is surrounded by the sloping conical glass façade of the Building “T”, and the glass screen directs collected meager rays of the northern sun into the garden, so it greens in early spring. That’s why this place becomes particular and many open-air corporate meetings are held there. Also this garden can accommodate an outdoor collection of The Hermitage Museum, actually it does.
