The concept of our showroom was built on the power of thought and ideas for the interior design - all of which was created by us. Why did we use grass? Because it symbolizes the growth of ideas and, in this case, our logos represent ideas that arise from the floor, culminate and grow until they reach the very top (ceiling) and then, after being brought "to life", fall into the "junkyard" of the already incurred (shop window). Then new ideas are born (created) and round and round it goes, just like the circle of life, where something is newly-born and something old dies.

Since our logos and corporate identity are colourful, it was clear that our workplace shouldn’t be any different :). The main area - the desk - had to be purple; the colour of our main logo. The storage cabinet (which, like everything else here, is made-to-measure) conceals a small kitchen, built-in refrigerator, wardrobe, space for goods, catalogues, folders and samples - practically everything we need for our work. We even have a sleeping floor in there, although it is, officially, additional storage space for ordered goods ;). We were certain about using natural materials, so we chose OSB boards for the bar table, which is used as a seating area for clients - and also for our presentations of their new interiors. Additionally, there is a pocket for catalogues or leaflets.

When creating the showroom, we thought it would be cool to use the space for presentations and sales of various designer accessories that fit other concepts as well as our own. That is why the MD shop was born; its other purpose being to help young, talented Czech artists and designers.

We did not significantly modify the room’s architecture. Because of the grassy carpet, we had to replace the original coffered ceiling - unfortunately so typical of office centres - with plasterboard. The floor, which was just a scratch coat, remained unchanged as it suited our plans ;).

We hope you like what we have created, and that you will drop by to see it in person!
