Summerhouse at Sejerøbugten | Holscher Nordberg
Denmark / 2010
The summerhouse is situated in a beautiful rolling landscape on the edge of a cliff by the water. The house sits softly on top of the terrain like a folded sheet that by means of its shape and grassy surface absorbs and continues the soft movement of the landscape. The house relates to the principles of the landscape in a very gentle manner.
The architectural intention is that the house has a clear and easily readable idea. By bending a surface the house is developed with a uniform material that forms both floors, walls and roof, inside and outside, closed at the sides by glass to optimize visibility conditions.
