One year after the beginning of the new partnership with Boundary, the showroom featuring modern high-end design furniture in Bangkok, Porro returned to Southeast Asia to present the 2014 collection in its privileged address in Thailand.

On October 27 was the evening celebrating the launch of the renovated set up, showing the best sellers and latest novelties of the Italian brand together with Living Divani upholstered furniture. 6 day and night areas, where the lacquers in primary colours mix up with the chromatic vitality of 16 essences of the new collection of Porro woods, emitting intense notes of elegance, refinement and relax.

In the main living room, the modular System bookcase in heat treated eucalyptus is displayed against the wall with a sliding Iron door in smoke glass, giallo zolfo matt lacquered random back panels and drawer-trays in black stained and natural hemlock , transformed into a sculptural object by the led lighting. Two Ghiaccio armchairs in black stained ash offer a quirky seat, while on the back of the sofa the protagonist is the lower cupboard Tiller in heat treated eucalyptus, whose doors, thanks to a special hinge, open on each other with a 180°-rotation, delightfully changing its frontal drawing.

In the second living area, an equipped wall Modern+Load-it combines the steel shelves and avorio wall panels of Load-It bookcase to the suspended shelf and Flag panel in heat treated eucalyptus of the system of containers Modern. At the centre of the room a piece that plays on unexpected movements and elaborate finishes: 3Table is a hinged table with metal glossy black painted legs consisting of a oval black back-painted glass top, a round and a square top in lauro preto wood.

In the dining room, the table Synapsis with a black stained hemlock top and a black varnished woven base is presented along with chairs Como in black stained oak and soft leather. A perfect solution to store plates, glasses and cutlery is the bookcase Ex-Libris in the “total” transparent version with shelves, sides and back panels in glass: a real showcase enclosed by glass doors with “Iron” frame.

Beyond Ex-Libris, the Taac extension table with black aluminium structure and heat treated eucalyptus covered top creates and functional and bright study area.

We breathe the refined and relaxed atmosphere of the Porro house even in upper floor. Here, a relaxing area features the self-bearing walk-in closet Storage Air with transparent glass sides and back-panels and “carbone” oak interiors.
