Deep Cove Renovation | D'Arcy Jones Architecture
Nord Vancouver / Canada / 2014
This restoration of a leggy house on a precarious cliff involved infilling some multi-level floor platforms, relocating the kitchen and re-jigging the powder bathroom. Sensitive to Architect Robert Hassell's original vision and language, the existing structure was either left as-is or completely removed, creating a potpourri of 1970's get-'er-done pragmatism with contemporary white linings.
