Two neighbours collaborated in creating new matching extensions on a modest budget. A simple palette of materials was employed, with white render used to express the new as distinct from the old.

Sizeable folding doors provided both properties with a new connection to lush rear gardens, which, in combination with large roof lights, allowed daylight to permeate right to the back of the both kitchens.
