Rodinný dům je navržen na zajímavém a jistě malebném pozemku. Je skrytý před zraky kolemjdoucích a teprve pokud projdeme příjezdovou komunikací, sevřenou mezi parcelami lemujícími ulici, otevře se před námi prostor vymezený ze severu a západu sousedícími domy a z jižní a východní strany zahrádkářskou kolonií oddělenou potokem. V povzdáli tušíme řeku, les a přírodu. Zároveň je samotný pozemek cenný tím, že jsou zde vzrostlé stromy, keře, studny a sklípek.

Při návrhu objektu jsme se proto snažili zohlednit zmíněné klady a respektovat prostředí, ve kterém se nacházíme. Přestože je dům poměrně rozsáhlý svým stavebním programem, bylo přáním investora nestavět dům dvoupatrový, který by znehodnotil sousedním objektům výhledy na řeku a les. Aby tento objem nepůsobil příliš hmotně, je rozdělen na čtyři křídla, která jsou tvarovaná nepravidelně z důvodu maximálního respektování vzrostlých stromů, keřů a stávajících studen, kterým se vyhýbáme, a dům je tak již od počátků obklopen vzrostlou zelení. 

Severní křídlo tvoří garáž, která navazuje na příjezdovou komunikaci, západní a východní křídlo je určeno ložnicím a pokojům dětí, jižní křídlo obsahuje vinný sklípek, který je umístěn ve stopě původního stávajícího sklepa a krytou terasu. Střed mezi křídly, tedy srdce domu, je tvořeno prostorným obývacím pokojem s krbem. Křídla se se svými čely orientují k sousedním pozemkům, proto jsme zde neumisťovali okna, ale plné zdi, obložené přírodním, hrubě opracovaným kamenem tak, aby nebyla rušena intimita obyvatel domu ani sousedů a byl zachován přírodní ráz lokality, pro kterou je kámen typický. Jižní křídlo se v místě sklípku snižuje, což umožňuje vyniknout zelené střeše, která oživuje objekt v celé ploše zastřešení. Střecha je odvodněna do tří chrličů, umístěných v kamenných zdech, které tak za deště budou ozvláštněny elementem tekoucí vody.

Family house is designed on a interesting and certainly pitoresque land. It is hidden from the eyes of passers-by and only if we pass the access road clenched between plots lining the street, the area opens in front of us. The area is demarcated with neighbouring houses on the north and with gardening colony separated by a brook on the west. We can sense the river, forest and the nature farther away. The land is simultaneously valuable because of its well, wine cellar, shrubs and high-grown trees.

We have tried to take account of cited advantages in the process of designing as well as respect the environment that we occur in. Even though the house is relatively extensive with its building program, the desire of investor was not to build a multi-storey house that would destroy the splendid outlook. Not to make the volume give excessively heavy appearence it's devided into four wings that are shaped irregularly due to the existence of trees, scrubs, wells and water sources that we try to maximally respect and avoid so the house is surrounded by mature greenery from the very start.

Northern wing consists of a garage, which is connected to the access road, western and eastern wing pertain to bedrooms and children's rooms. The southern wing incorporate a wine cellar, which is located in the original footprint of the existing cellar and a covered patio. The midpoint of the wings, the heart of the house consists of a spacious living room with fireplace.The front parts of the wings lead to the neighboring land. That is why we did not place the windows here and instead we used full walls panelled with natural, roughly trimmed stone. In this way the intimacy of inhabitants and their neighbours is preserved as well as the natural character of the site for which the stone is typical. The southern wing decreases in the point of cellar that enables to the green roof to stand out and revive the object in the intire surface. The roof is drained into three gargoyles, placed on the stone walls that will be accentuated by the element of a flowing water in the rain.
