Scodinzo - Lino | Mattia Lupo

Designing Scodinzo-Lino we tried to recreate, in the lines of its design, the empathetic relationship that children feel in observing for the first time a little puppy, exclaiming, "That look nice mom!": the big head stretched out forward, the great nose and black eyes, the game of the three colours: brown / black / white, the tail that wags, the coat shiny and ears strained to hear every little noise. The lines of the design don’t want to create a caricature of the puppy, but prompt to bring out the emotions, to invite caresses, cuddles, give security and protection.

The project ensures the use in age from 12 months to 3 years, all the functions required in the competition are met: Rocking game, Pull and Go, Push and Walk, Ride on baby.

The purely functional parts of the project: the back, arm rests, protective footrest and handles have been formally integrated into an unified design in order to be perceived by the child as part of a single playmate doggie Scodinzo - Lino.
