Special Mention at German Design Award 2015 | ANTRAX IT radiators & fireplaces

Antrax IT, azienda leader in Italia nella progettazione e produzione di termo arredi dal ricercato design e dall’elevata qualità, ottiene un nuovo e importante riconoscimento in ambito internazionale.

 Con Flaps, il radiatore nato dalla creatività di Victor Vasilev, si aggiudica la Menzione Speciale nella categoria Building and Energy al German Design Award 2015.

 Il German Design Award è un prestigioso riconoscimento internazionale, attribuito dal German Design Council e premia designer e aziende d'eccellenza che hanno saputo esprimere nei loro prodotti originalità, qualità e funzionalità.

Il premio sarà consegnato durante una cerimonia ufficiale a febbraio 2015, a Francoforte, e sarà assegnato da una giuria di 29 esperti provenienti da differenti settori del mondo del design ed è il risultato di una selezione fra 2.250 progetti concorrenti in diverse categorie.

 Flaps, progetto di Victor Vasilev e già vincitore dell’Interior Innovation Award 2014 come miglior prodotto nella sezione termo arredo, nasce dall’osservazione delle forme e del funzionamento del calorifero a piastra.

Realizzato interamente in alluminio riciclabile ad alta efficienza termica, è caratterizzato da una piastra dello spessore di 3 mm, interrotta da ‘pieghe’ simmetriche, ‘Flaps’, da cui nasce il nome del radiatore.

Flaps è disponibile, anche nella versione elettrica, nelle misure 171 x 35 cm, 201 x 35 cm e può essere realizzato in oltre 200 varianti cromatiche.

 Questo importante premio è la prova dello straordinario impegno di Antrax IT nella creazione di prodotti dal design sempre originale e dalla forte personalità, capaci di dare calore e di soddisfare le più sofisticate esigenze estetiche e funzionali.

With Flaps, the radiator devised by the creative flair of Victor Vasilev, Antrax IT has been given the Special Mention in the Building and Energy category at the German Design Award 2015.

The German Design Award is a prestigious international award, attributed by the German Design Council to excellent designers and companies who have been able to express originality, quality and functionality in their products.

The award will be handed over during an official ceremony scheduled to take place in February 2015 in Frankfurt, by a jury of 29 experts from various areas of the design world and it is the result of a selection from 2,250 projects competing in various categories.

Flaps, designed by Victor Vasilev and the winner of the Interior Innovation Award 2014 as best product in the designer radiator category, is the result of observing the shapes and functioning of plate radiators.

Made entirely of recyclable aluminium affording high heating efficiency, it is distinguished by a 3 mm thick plate, interrupted by symmetrical flaps which give the radiator its name.

Flaps is available, in the electric version too, in sizes: 171 x 35 cm, 201 x 35 cm and it can be made in over 200 colour variants.

This major award is proof of the extraordinary commitment on the part of Antrax IT to create products which always afford an original design and a strong personality, capable of producing heat and also of accommodating the most sophisticated styling and functional requirements.
