This generous family home is arranged in a simple cross form.  Each arm of the cross contains distinct functional areas including living, sleeping, entertainment and work zones. The cross form in turn forms four external courtyards also with their specific functions including children’s grassed play area, pool and entertainment zones, and tennis court. This simple arrangement of pavilions allows for single room depth spaces that allow good visual and physical connection between the inside and the outside. The master bedroom is situated at the upper level giving a sense of separation and privacy from the more public spaces at ground level. The entry into the home from the porte-cochere is via an elongated colonnade flanked by the black lined lap pool. This colonnade leads to the double height glazed entry that features a stone wall and timber stairs leading to the master bedroom floating above an internal pond.
