This property had been vacant for two years and fallen into severe disrepair prior to our clients acquiring it. ArchitectureLIVE's design brief was to recover the uplifting spirit of the original building character and combine this with new, contemporary open plan living.

Building parts which had been beyond repair were replaced with small extensions and vast thermal improvements where implemented in the entire house. The new extensions are zinc-clad bay windows which have been orientated in such a way to optimise daylight and views across the stunning countryside whilst maintaining privacy from neighbours.
