Si tratta di un intervento di allestimento di una terrazza a livello, presso un'abitazione privata nei pressi del Centro Storico di Spoleto.
L'unità abitativa trovasi al piano attico di una palazzina in contesto peri-urbano residenziale.
La terrazza a livello, presa in esame e che i committenti hanno inteso ridisegnare è quella prospiciente la veduta mozzafiato sull'antico borgo medievale.
La superficie della terrazza è di circa 50 mq. eccellente veduta a 180 gradi con dipartenza dai colli olivati agli antichi organismi residenziali.
Spicca in tal senso l'area della cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta (XI - XVIII sec.) e del suo imponente campanile, nonchè dal complesso immobiliare della Genga.
L'intervento volgeva alla creazione di uno spazio funzionale all'unità abitativa. In particolare, seguendo le linee guida degli stessi committenti sia in termini estetici che di efficienza funzionale, si è pensato in primo luogo al rivestimento del pavimento, con un dek in legno in Teak in assi a tolda di nave.
sull'asse longitudinale si svolgeranno le varie attività dalla zona colazione allo spazio di conversazione immerso nel verde, e da divani ovvero poltrone da esterni in monoblocco di polietilene DRIADE Mt2 by Ron Arad. Si completerà tale area con un angolo verde e una panca multifunzione.
La zona pranzo utilizza gli attuali arredi costituiti da un Ombrellone a sospensione e un tavolo rettangolare in metallo EMU con le proprie sedie, tale area verrà protetta da una barriera frangivento con elementi in vetro completamente trasparenti.
