The idea for Igloo glass, arises from solving a problem, to ensure that the liquid in the glass, will not diluted by the presence of ice. So I’ve thought of a series of Tumbler glasses, with a very traditional design, added, in the bottom, of a cavity where is possible to put crushed ice to cool the beverage. This gap is derived in the classic space that usually have Tumbler glasses at the base, which is about 2 cm tall. In closing, we apply a brushed steel cap. For the realization we proceed with glass blowing, going to create even the bevel on the bottom of the glass, that allows air to vent during the application of the cap, thus avoiding the difficulty of inserting it. The series consist of three glasses, a small Tumbler (20cl) for liquor or short, a medium Tumbler (25cl) for whisky, or juices, and a Highball (33cl) for long drinks or mineral water.
