*** Warm Influance of Art

Erenköy House is one of escapefromsofa's latest project situated in the heart of Anatolia.

Erenköy house is an 220 sq meter apartment with two storey.  1 st floor consist of living room, one master bedroom,  guest restroom, dressing room and kitchen. 2nd storey is a penthouse with a view of prince islands and it consist of one guest bedroom, bathroom, dressing room and a kitchen.

As we start the project we first tried to understand clients needs  and demands.

The concept was designed around preserving the building’s character and let the furniture and lighting be a contrast to emphasize the two different worlds that come together here.

Throughout all the details, the project goes by the modern to the contemporary, but always inside the minimalist premisses of our firm. From the architecture, interior design to furniture design, decoration and art, our firm was focused on creating a precisely detailed, exclusive and timeless project.

In the living room all the story takes shape around the big old chesterfield couch. Frames behind the couch is probably most unique pieces of the project.  They have been collected from England's most famous antique area called ''Portobello''. The coffee table infront of the  sofa has been purchased from B&B italia. The tv unit has been produced by escapefromsofa regarding to the needs of client. With two scandinavian easy chair we strive to make the project look more casual.

The art pieces have been collected one by one from all around Istanbul mostly ''cukurcuma'' well known by its antiques.

The big dinning table is one of the most valuable piece of the project. It has been made from an old antique solid walnut. The chairs  around the table are one of escapefromsofa' s  design '' short chair''

The pendant lightings in the living room are the unique designs of  Mrs. Günay Inan, Turkish Lighting Designer.

The carptes are all vintage Iranian carpets purchased from ''Dhoku''
