Wine Bar Dobravac is a newly open bar in the well know city of Rovinj on Croatian north cost.
The bar itself is 50 sqm of size. Specific thing about this bar is that most of the walls and some parts of furniture is colored with 100% red wine from the owner of the Wine Bar, which is at the same time one of the best quality wine producer in Istrian region. So in same way this bar is literally Wine Bar.
through out the whole project main goal was to present the wine bar as close as possible to the native istrian wine cellar, by following materials, interior features, colors, and even smells.
So floor, ceiling, some walls and even lamp are made out of raw concrete, while furniture is maily done out of oak wood which is mostly used in making wine barrels.
Interesting feature is artistic wall glazed with special cleanable laquer so it can be used as the artistic part of space where customers can share their piece of mind after drink a few glasses of wine. Of course wall can be cleaned with a dry towell and reuse as many time as desired.
In addition to that much more interesting features are hiding inside that small space such as all custom made storage doors with invisible hinges, sanitary doors with custom made hole in a function of a handle, joints on the table surface, custom made solid european walnut tree handle on glass doors.
