Dental clinic of Dr. Petar Duchev is located in Sofia in the building of The European Parliament - The European Commission on the 124 Georgi.S.Rakovski Str. The building has a memorable façade and was designed by studio PRO-ARCH.

The existing space was designed as a two-level store with an entrance from street. Two levels were connected by an internal steel staircase. The second floor has a small balcony with view to to the courtyard, connected to it via external steel staircase. The second floor consisted of retail space, inner courtyard and staircase leading to the underground garage of the building. The second floor contained a retail space, small storage and two bathrooms with anteroom.

Dental Clinic Petar Duchev is a Franchising Project of International Group TM "Zablotskyy Clinic".

On the first floor (built up area – 168.75sq.m.) are placed an entrance hall, reception hall, two dental surgeries, x-ray room, administration office, filing cabinet, one toilet for visitors and one toilet for disabled. Access to the second floor is via elevator from the reception hall. Elevator is built on place of the existing metal staircase.

On the second floor (built up area – 203.23sq.m.) are located waiting room, two dental surgeries, sterilization, laboratory, conference room, rest room, toilets for visitors and staff quarters. The evacuation from second level of the clinic is through the outer metal fire-escape stair.

Patients of the clinic can use three of the parking places in the underground parking of the building.

On the both floors of the clinic is executed raised double floor. Its total height is 10cm and consists from steel frame, plywood and floor finishing. Double floor allows free passing of installations from dental units to water supply and sewage risers. On the place of inner metal staircase is made elevator for disabled. The hole in the slab of the second floor that remains beside the elevator is filled with steel construction. Over steel beams are mounted plywood slabs and floor finishing.

Interior partition walls are made from plasterboard on aluminum construction by KNAUF system. The boards in dry areas are executed with plasterboard KNAUF GKB, in wet areas with plasterboard KNAUF GKH, in the elevator shaft with KNAUF GKF and in spaces where radiation protection is need plasterboards are from KNAUF Safeboard.

Glazed internal walls are made of aluminum frames glazed with single glass. Interior doors are from MDF. The door of the x-ray room has integrated lead sheet in it. Antibacterial PVC flooring is executed in all premises of the clinic except toilets, where flooring is from tiles.

The walls in clinic are painted in white color. Back above the lower cabinets in dental surgeries, sterilization and laboratory are made from tempered glass. Walls in bathrooms are covered with tiles to height of 240cm from floor.

Suspended ceiling is made from standard tile ceiling with exposed grid structure. That allows full access to ceiling, where are integrated heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, built-in lighting, sound system and fire alarm system.

Minimalism, purity and whiteness are the main idea in creating the interior of the clinic. Premises where patient attend as surgeries, waiting rooms, conference hall and rest are glazed to the corridors and to the façade. Everything is transparent and visible to the clients. Everything is see-through and visible from the street day and night. Another advantage of glass is its virtue to permeate light while spaces are not partitioned but united by glass. The spacious reception hall has two waiting areas. Guests can watch TV or look from the window passengers walking on the street while children may sit and play. Doors of elevator are mirrored to reflect and expand the space around it.
