A series of white washed, smooth-edged houses, with amalgamating elements of the old Cycladic architecture, whose ethereal aesthetics embrace the mesmerizing surroundings. Situated under the blazing sun of Koufonisi island, their organic form and starkly monochromatic color palette flawlessly reflect the island’s tranquility. It’s sculptural shape appears to have been ravaged by the frequent high winds, merging it wonderfully with its environment.

The interior scenery has been injected with an underlying mood of simplicity and elegance, through its graceful curving lines, which ensure a seamless flow of space. The omnipresent white has formed a festivity of exciting contrasts made of light and shadow, which allow the Aegean sun to diffuse through bigger or smaller openings. Working as a canvas of colorless unity reigning throughout , it is interrupted only by a few contrasting objects. This prevalent whiteness, combined with totally natural materials of wood, stone and bamboo, all gracefully speak of the euphoric energy of this Grecian retreat.
