renovation of a flat - from white plane style to cottage style Prague / Czech Rep. / 2013

After 4 years of just talking and talking, we finaly agreed on the renovation of our flat.
Our requirements were: to fit table for 6 people, have enough storage space and find a space for the fridge and all the historical "stuff" my mum keeps (which is all still functional).
The result: two walls were demolished, one was moved. Bathroom was moved were use to be a storage room. Some things from there were "kicked out of the house"and the rest we placed into a new wardrobe (which is situated where use to be kitchen cabinet) and outdoor equipment we put in a handmade boxes under the ceiling. The wardrobe doors are covered with a solid fabric printed with photos of my parents in their early 20s.
Kitchen is very old looking but very energetical. White is the basic, yellow is fresh and energy giving, wood brings some nature to the interior and green painting brings us to mountains we all love.
