The De Haan influence on Folkstone is taking shape nicely. The first and most striking of which is the bold new restaurant positioned in the fishing harbour. Ex Ramsey protégé Mark Sergeant has been chosen to spearhead the culinary development of the harbour location, starting with Rock Salt.
Working with Guy Holloway Architects we understood the brief would call upon the need to show strong design that still fitted in with the charm of this setting. The restaurant has had a hugely successful response and been nominated for the Restaurant and Bar Design awards for 2012 in the Standalone restaurant category.
