The NAHUM mini store is a really peculiar and interesting interior design project.

Projected for the Summer of 2014, this little tiny space that used to be an ancient bakery on a commercial gallery became a fashion boutique for the Brazilian brand Nahum.

The biggest challenge of the project was the small budget ($5,000 five thousand dollars) and the size of the store (12,00 m² square meters) comparing to its complex program.

The project is about using a dark curtain as a background that when it opens it shows some functions such as cashier and dressing rooms. The colorful clothes of the brand seems to be floating by wood tubes in the middle of a dark and gray atmosphere.

The unusual ceiling tries to explain the concept of the brand about the synergy of traditional and contemporary fashion lines. Ornamented ceiling medallions with different size and diameters, instead of hanging chandeliers, hangs pendant industrial lights that creates a cozy and an unexpected visual.

Despite its size, the store works pretty well and was a success during the Summer of 2014.
