The request :
Furnish day two spaces , living room and main lounge, contemporary style but with an authentic flavor . Make the most of the space to enter the largest collection of books and cds, dvds . Having a wet bar .
proposal:
The solution I propose reflects this particular environments and seeks to bind to each other through the same principle. This has been made possible by the use of materials : wood , which is present In furnishing such as finishes , coatings brick and color. The colors chosen are very basic, " eggshell " and " white milk " , but because of their simplicity are very elegant , also match well with the existing marble floor , finally manage to amplify the light and feeling of space .
The interventions are described below .
- Living :
I put a structure in this area plasterboard and wood, which is a fictitious separation and allows access to the apartment with a sort of "invitation", this console because not only defines the distributions of use, but is used to divide better paths , without taking space and light. It is a double-sided element , in such a way that even if it has an important structure is pleasant to the sight .
Given the large windows and the insertion of the radiators under them , I proposed to create a kind of wood trim that encompasses multiple functions. In this way, not only will you gain space, but are unable to obtain a container element infinite ( umbrella holder , shoe rack, document holder, cd , etc. . ) And also an exhibitor , a library and even a modern sitting , which is why I felt need to draw this element as a step structure , in which the first of these bases is placed in the sofa area , thus creating more places to sit and little corners of conversation.
Another action functional is the use of pre-existing niches . I used them to create the space between the plasterboard with the exhibitors, then with the aid of light create a dramatic effect warm and welcoming.
Also, trying to make the most of the space, in one of these new niches I inserted a session , so you can enjoy the view over the landscape in a direct manner .
Staying in this environment, the other ideas that I put at the type of furniture.

As a dining table that I set a very natural : two large logs make up the legs, and the boards of reclaimed wood construction form the support surface , all treated with walnut finish . La richiesta:
Arredare due spazi giorno, soggiorno e salone principale, dallo stile contemporaneo ma con un sapore autentico. Sfruttare al meglio lo spazio per inserire la grande raccolta di libri e cd, dvd. Avere un angolo bar.
Proposta:
La soluzione che propongo rispecchia questo particolare e cerca di legare gli ambienti tra di loro attraverso lo stesso principio. Questo è stato reso possibile dall’uso dei materiali: il legno, che è presente tanto nell’arredo quanto nelle rifiniture; i rivestimenti in mattoni a vista e il colore. I colori scelti sono molto essenziali, “guscio d’uovo” e “bianco latte”, ma proprio per la loro semplicità risultano molto eleganti, inoltre si abbinano bene col pavimento in marmo preesistente, infine riescono ad amplificare la luce e la sensazione di spazio.
Gli interventi effettuati sono di seguito descritti.
- Living:
in quest’area ho inserito una struttura in cartongesso e legno, che rappresenta una separazione fittizia e che permette di accedere all’appartamento con una sorta di “invito”, poiché questa consolle non solo definisce le distribuzioni d’uso, ma consente di ripartire meglio i percorsi, senza togliere spazio e luce. È un elemento bifacciale, in maniera tale che pur se ha una struttura importante risulta gradevole alla vista.
Viste le grandi finestre e l’inserimento dei termosifoni sotto di esse, ho proposto di creare una sorta di rivestimento in legno che racchiude molteplici funzioni. In questo modo non solo si guadagna spazio, ma si riesce ad ottenere un elemento contenitore infinito (porta ombrelli, scarpiera, porta documenti, porta cd, etc.) e anche un espositore, una libreria e perfino una moderna seduta; ecco perché ho ritenuto necessario disegnare questo elemento come una struttura a gradini, in cui il primo di questi basi viene posto nella zona divani, così crea posti in più a sedere e piccoli angoli di conversazione.
Un altro intervento funzionale è dato dall’uso delle nicchie preesistenti. Ho utilizzato lo spazio tra loro per creare con del cartongesso degli espositori, che poi con l’ausilio della luce creano un effetto scenografico caldo ed accogliente.
Inoltre, cercando di sfruttare al meglio gli spazi, in una di queste nuove nicchie ho inserito un elemento seduta, così da poter godere della vista sul panorama in maniera diretta.
Restando in questo ambiente, le altre idee che ho inserito riguardano il tipo di arredo.
Poiché i lavori in cartongesso per creare le nicchie e la consolle, uniti ai lavori di falegnameria per creare la struttura copritermosifone possono rappresentare un investimento oneroso, ho cercato di ovviare il problema utilizzando elemento “ecosostenibili”, inserendo elementi naturali (come i ceppi dei tronchi degli alberi per il tavolino da caffè del soggiorno) ed elementi riciclati (come il pallet per i divani e la bobina industriale per il tavolo). Questo stile viene riproposto anche per le sedute, infatti sono composte da una base in legno su cui vengono impilate delle riveste e fissate con delle cinture; questo tipo di sgabello nonostante sia presente sul mercato (vedi tavola arredo 4), può essere riprodotto senza che si spenda un capitale.
Per continuare sfruttare meglio lo spazio, ho inserito una libreria per tv led direttamente sulla parete, come un quadro.
A mio avviso, questo ambiente risulta attuale, moderno, pur restando caldo ed accogliente, stimola la convivialità e la serenità, ideale per essere vissuto quotidianamente.
- Salone & Pranzo:
Anche qui ho cercato di creare un equilibrio tra il vecchio e il nuovo. Innanzitutto, l’arco grande che dà sulla cucina viene chiuso a metà, come da richiesta committenza, e creato un angolo bar; per creare privacy in cucina consiglio di inserire delle separazioni in legno, che possono essere sfruttate dotandole di ripiani per contenere bicchieri e bottiglie.
Come tavolo da pranzo ho voluto proporre un elemento molto naturale: due grandi ceppi formano le gambe, e delle assi di legno di recupero da cantiere formano il piano di appoggio, il tutto trattato con finitura noce. Accanto ad arredi di stile naturale ho inserito un dressoir di stile classico e uno specchio molto country. Questi due elementi vengono posti sulla parete rivestita in mattoni a vista, in maniera tale che gli stili si leghino.
Ho voluto dividere gli ambienti pranzo e salone per funzione, ossia ho ricreato l’arco che troviamo nel soggiorno, così pur restando aperta c’è una distribuzione degli usi migliore.
Il salone rappresenta la parte della zona giorno più riservata, di conseguenza ho cerato di inserire divani e poltrone, uno di fronte l’altro, proprio per cercare quel senso di privato.
Per continuare il discorso del soggiorno, anche qui vengono riproposte le soluzioni adottate per coprire i termosifoni, quindi creare una libreria con vetrinetta in legno.
La parete in cui nell’immagine fornita erano presenti degli armadi, ho collocato una scaffalatura costituita da assi di recupero (come per il tavolo da pranzo).

Con queste soluzioni ho cercato di creare un zona giorno contemporanea e di stile, mantenendo il sapore autentico. (tipo Frodo Baggins in versione rock).
