In a courtyard in the centre of Turin, an old carpentry has been transformed into a modern loft.

The ground floor houses the living area, the kitchen and a wooden "box" that contains the main bathroom. In the kitchen area, the facade of the box integrates storage spaces, appliances and irregular shelves. The warm tones of the okumé wood create contrast with the white lacquering of the kitchen.

Behind the sofa, there is a custom made bookcase built with wood and iron: the lowest shelf continues along the entire wall forming a long bench.

The white metal staircase leading to the upper floor is protected by a perforated panel that filters the light projecting geometric shadows.

In the attic, a portion of the building's slab is made of glass, while the rest of the floor is paved with wooden slats. The top floor is a multi-purpose space that houses a large white lacquered wardrobe with sliding doors and the bedroom with a wash basin and a bathtub at sight. In a small enclosed space are hidden toilet.

In un cortile nel centro di Torino, una vecchia falegnameria è stata convertita in un moderno loft.

Il piano terra ospita il living con cucina a vista e una "scatola" di legno che contiene il bagno principale. Nella zona cucina, la facciata della scatola integra degli spazi contenitivi, gli elettrodomestici e una scaffalatura dal disegno irregolare. I toni caldi del volume in legno okumé contrastano con la laccatura bianca opaca della cucina.

Una libreria costruita in legno e ferro fa da sfondo al divano: il ripiano più basso della libreria continua su tutta la parete formando una lunga panca.

La scala in metallo verniciato di bianco che conduce al piano superiore è protetta da un pannello di lamiera forata che filtra la luce proiettando nell'ambiente delle ombre geometriche.

Al piano mansardato, la porzione della soletta realizzata in vetro è accostata alla pavimentazione continua in listoni di legno. Qui lo spazio è un ambiente polifunzionale dotato di un'ampia armadiatura chiusa con grandi porte scorrevoli. Nella zona notte il lavabo e la vasca da bagno sono a vista mentre i sanitari sono contenuti in un piccolo ambiente chiuso.
