This renovation consisted of a 3-floor structure, with existing interior elements from the 70's. Focusing predominantly on winter sports, this store was designed following the tradition of a winter hunterís cabin, found in places like the northern Canadian and Alaskan territories, which was then finished in original and very contemporary fashion. The use of large wooden trunks throughout both for exposition of goods and furniture, old black and white photos framed in natural wood, natural grey stone floor tiles in irregular dimensions, and baked larch coupled with black accents and modern white furniture make for a very unique experience. The overall objective was to create an original, warm and inviting space where sporting goods are showcased in a white and black contrasting backdrop.
