This chair was more simple and aimed at the lucid explanation. In addition, the composition beauty of a line and a surface is emphasized.
A ring-shaped simple line (a WA= ring) expresses solid texture of wood and visual softness enough. Moreover, the form where balance was maintained is the frame (line) equipped with the structure of an arm and the leg in to a single continuous ring.
The seat and the back which were unified are a surface with the merit of the softness to the line of a frame, and comfortableness. This chair that consists of only two parts, this line and a surface, will express the new Japanese aesthetic.
