The Archimachine is a moving object suspended in space and time. A metaphor of a mutation of the country where every single gear is a key piece for its functioning. A surrealist spaceship where thecountry and its symbols floating weightless. A microcosm that transports the imagination. 17 illustrations of fantastic machines representing 17 countries whose gears are made and operated by architecture. Mechanisms suspended in time and space that produce and process culture. The architecture is a complex system able to influence and affect our way of life. We are in part the result of the spaces we inhabit. Is certain the influence of architecture and structure upon human character and action. We make our buildings and afterwards they make us. A kind of exemplification of Genius Loci concept that refers to a location's distinctive atmosphere, or a "spirit of place". This illustrator project is a metaphor of how the architecture is a fundamental key piece in the construction of identity of places and of people that inhabit them. This mechanized representation of architecture presents a narrative exploration of a country and its culture. The colors and the architectural symbols participate in the effort of a surrealist description of a nation.
