Once again we partnered with social environmentalist Hon. Nida Cabrera to innovate the waste management in Cebu City. * PRODUCTS FROM DISCARDED FANS * JOB CREATING IN THE PHILIPPINES * FUNDING FOR PRODUCTION START UP A strong story with a social aspect. Handled with a design approach leading us to unique pieces. Old fans are purchased in local junkshops and are combined with traditional weavings. Cebu is well known for its indigenous material weaving industry. Choosing this craft was thus a logical choice. We combined this with a lot of local creativity and prototyping what led to an interesting recycled material combination. Working locally, involving the local communities leads us to a strong social background. Supporting in livelihoods, creative thinking and green awareness.
