An assignment for a house in the middle of the tropical island and an inspection to the site has inspired this parallel, visionary project.
The interior of the island is characterized by a magical primaeval atmosphere: the rainforest shrouded in permanent moisture, low and heavy sky, red loam, lush and impenetrable vegetation, concretions of dark lava stone take us back in time in a primitive world.
Build on this land means to manipulate the primordial elements: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire but also to assert a strong constructive act, a foundation gesture typically human, a desire to control the elements and stand out above them.
