Quando si dice prendere una decisione con il cuore… Probabilmente è stato quel grande terrazzo che affaccia sul lago di Lugano, da cui si gode di una vista incantevole sull’intera città svizzera, a conquistare letteralmente la proprietà, che hanno deciso di acquistare il loro primo nido d’amore proprio qui, in Svizzera.
L’appartamento si trova nel complesso residenziale Il Poggio a Melide, una località turistica molto apprezzata del Canton Ticino,progettato dall’architetto Rosario Sanfilippo, che si è occupato anche di rivedere gli interni di casa.
Tutti gli 11 appartamenti sono ubicati in zona panoramica, su due edifici sfalsati a terrazze, rivolti strategicamente a est per godere delle prime luci dell’alba sul lago,con grandi terrazzi riparati per gioire appieno del panorama frontale. «Sebbene siamo in un complesso con altri vicini – confessa la rporpietà – l’impressione è quella di abitare in una villetta indipendente e isolata. La privacy è totale, proprio come desideravamo noi». La coppia ha anche due cani che scorrazzano liberamente tra terrazzo, giardino e appartamento.
«Siamo tranquilli perché il pavimento lo abbiamo scelto anche in funzione dei nostri animali. Resistente e facile da pulire».
A terra, infatti, si trova Boscuro, acacia Thermowood della serie Luci di Fiemme, un’essenza capace di esaltare le differenze di tonalità dei colori caldi, creando una sensazione di conforto e protezione.
Un legno naturale e resistente, ottimo anche per il tipo di riscaldamento a pavimento di cui è dotata la casa.
«Il proprietario è uno del mestiere – spiega l’architetto Sanfilippo –, più che un normale committente è stato anche collega e collaboratore: ho condiviso molte delle sue scelte ».
Una grande parete in vetro, anziché in muratura, è stata una delle varianti dal capitolato realizzata per aprire lo spazio e per dare respiro alla zona giorno. In cucina spicca il tavolo in cristallo e legno Fiemme 3000 che riprende lo stile del pavimento.
Gli arredi della casa sono minimal, sui toni del bianco e dell’argento perché, come spiega la proprietà: «Siamo entrati da poco e ancora la casa risulta spoglia. Ma sono sicura che tra qualche tempo la personalizzeremo come si deve». E visto il gusto adottato fin qui c’è davvero poco da dubitare.

The apartment is located in a residential complex “Il Poggio” in Melide, a very popular tourist resort in the canton of Ticino, designed by architect Rosario Sanfilippo, who has also worked to revise the interior of the house.
All the 11 apartments are located in a scenic, on two buildings staggered in terraces, strategically facing east to enjoy the first light of dawn on the lake, with large and sheltered terraces to enjoy the full the front view. "Although we are in a complex with other neighbors - confesses the property - the impression is for living in a detached and isolated residence. Total privacy, just like we wanted."
The couple also has two dogs that roam freely between terrace, garden and apartment.
" We are calm because we had chosen the floor also on the basis of our animals. Durable and easy to clean."
On the ground, in fact, is Boscuro ,thermowood acacia essence, Luci di Fiemme series ,an essence capable of enhancing the differences in shades of warm colors, creating a feeling of comfort and protection.
A natural wood, durable, very good for the type of heating floor system that is foreseen in the house.
" The owner is one of the trade - explains architect Sanfilippo - more than a normal customer, he was also colleague and collaborator: I shared many of his choices."
A large glass wall instead of brick was one of the variations in the specifications designed to open up the space and to give breath to the living area. In the kitchen stands out the glass and Fiemme 3000 wooden table that continues the style of the floor.
The furnishings of the home are minimal, in shades of white and silver because, as explained the owner : " We entered the house recently and is still bare. But I'm sure that after some time, we will customize it as it should be.
And as given the taste adopted so far there is very little to be doubted ".
