È affacciato sulle colline di una delle zone più suggestive al mondo – il Chianti – in una terra che tutti ci invidiano, a San Casciano,un piccolo borgo a pochi chilometri da Firenze, ma che sembra lontano anni luce dalla frenesia cittadina. Il silenzio della campagna circonda questo casolare ricavato da un vecchio granaio dismesso, dolcemente appoggiato sul declivio naturale dell’uliveto in cui è situato.
Dell’antico fienile sono rimaste solo le strutture portanti: in circa due anni di lavori quello che era un deposito oramai in disuso è stato sapientemente trasformato in una magnifica dimora abitativa.
Una ristrutturazione complessa e articolata, fatta di interventi strutturali importanti,con l’obiettivo di esaudire il desiderio del proprietario: vivere con la famiglia in un’abitazione sana, dal tetto alle fondamenta,nel rispetto della natura e del benessere.
L’architetto fiorentino Daniela Bianchi non aveva dubbi su come portare avanti questa ristrutturazione: trasformare un casolare dal sapore antico in un’abitazione accogliente e moderna, pur conservando lo spirito rurale e naturale della struttura originaria.
Nei pavimenti, nelle scale e nei rivestimenti di alcune pareti, è stato utilizzato il legno Fiemme 3000, un Dolcerivo – rovere Thermowood senza nodi – della serie Luci di Fiemme.
Dal patio si accede a un’ampia zona unica che racchiude soggiorno e cucina. Salendo le scale s’incontra una parete intera a boiserie, mentre un varco lascia intravedere una zona salotto relax, dominata da una parete in mattone a vista. Il rovere, col suo colore marrone caldo sembra portare ancora il segno del vento e delle striature sottili lasciate dalla terra. Le differenze di tonalità tra una tavola e l’altra danno vita a un gioco di colori unico. Per quanto riguarda l’arredamento spicca la modernità della cucina bianca ed essenziale:il bianco panna dei grandi divani e di una lunga dispensa a parete, colore ripreso anche nei magnifici soffitti con travi a vista.
Ma è soprattutto il legno scelto che garantisce un impatto di grande naturalezza ed eleganza a tutti gli ambienti e si ben coniuga con la filosofia del proprietario, assolutamente convinto, dopo un’accurata selezione, dell’altissimo standard qualitativo e della salubrità del legno Fiemme 3000. Il trattamento termico Thermowood rende il pavimento non solo più raffinato ma anche più solido, riducendone i rigonfiamenti: ideale per la soluzione dei pavimenti radianti previsti nel progetto. Il mix tra il rovere e gli arredi moderni è riuscitissimo e dona a questi spazi un’atmosfera quasi senza tempo.
It is overlooking the hills of one of the most scenic areas in the world - Chianti - in a land that everyone envies, in San Casciano , a small village a few kilometers farfrom Florence , but that seems light years away from the hustle and bustle. The silence of the countryside surrounds this cottage converted from an old abandoned barn , gently resting on the natural slope of the olive in which it is located.
Of the old barn were the only structures: in about two years of work what was a deposit now disused has been cleverly transformed into a magnificent mansion housing.
A complex and articulated restructuring project , made of important structural operation, with the aim to fulfill the desire of the owner to live with his family in a healthy house, from the roof to the foundation , with respect for nature and wellness.
The architect Daniela Bianchi had no doubts about how to carry out this restructuring project: to transform a house with an antique flavor into a home with a modern and cozy taste, while keeping the rural and natural spirit of the original structure. In the floors, stairs and in the covering of some walls, the wood that has been used is Fiemme 3000 , Dolcerivo essence – thermowood knot-free oak - Luci di Fiemme series.
From the patio you enter a large area that holds living room and kitchen only. Climbing the stairs it stands out a whole wall in boiserie, while an opening reveal a relaxing seating area , dominated by a wall in brickwork. The oak , with its warm brown color seems to bring even the sign of the wind and thin streaks left by the earth. The differences in tone between a board and the other give life to a unique play of colors. As for the furniture stands out the modern and essential white kitchen: the creamy white of the large sofas and of a long pantry wall is a color also reflected in the magnificent ceilings with exposed beams.
But it is all about the wood , the chosen wood that guarantees a great impact of naturalness and elegance to any environment and it combines well with the philosophy of the owner, absolutely convinced , after a careful selection of the very high standard of quality and healthiness of Fiemme 3000 wood. The thermowood treatment makes the floor not only more sophisticated but also more robust , reducing the bulges: ideal for the solution of the radiant floors foreseen in the project.
The mix of oak and modern furniture is very successful and gives to these spaces an almost timeless atmosphere.
