Val d’Ossola, estrema punta del Piemonte che si incunea nella svizzera meridionale. Un territorio che si contraddistingue per la sua schietta e silenziosa bellezza. Un paesino, Tensa , a cui si arriva solamente a piedi, grazie ad un sentiero nel bosco. Una donna anziana, che negli anni Sessanta rimane l’unica ad abitarlo. Alla sua morte inizia un silenzio lungo 40 anni, finché alla fine degli anni Novanta Luciano Falcini ed un suo socio decidono di riportare quel luogo alla vita, trasformandolo in un agriturismo. Un progetto impegnativo dal punto di vista tecnico, visto che le case erano parzialmente o totalmente crollate, e difficile l’impresa di riunificare una proprietà particolarmente frammentata. Dieci anni di lavori, poi, l’inaugurazione. Quando il visitatore arriva a Tensa non può che rimanere colpito da questo piccolo gruppo di case in pietra, immerse nel verde e circondate da orti e colture. Oltre al recupero del borgo, sono stati ricostruiti i terrazzamenti e rimessi a coltura i terreni agricoli, abbandonati ormai da decenni. Ma questo non è il solo motivo per cui stare seduti al sole sulla grande terrazza è così rilassante: tutto parla di quiete,di ritmi lenti e antichi, di un passato che poteva andare completamente perduto e così invece non è stato. Al posto della vecchia stalla, sovrastata dal fienile, è nata l’osteria con i prodotti e i piatti tipici. L’antico forno invece è stato trasformato in un monolocale con soppalco, andandosi così ad aggiungere alle altre sette casette. Alcune offrono il servizio di bed & breakfast, altre sono dotate di cucina per i soggiorni più lunghi. Interessante l’alternanza della pietra e del legno: per i pavimenti è stato scelto un larice Fiemme 3000 spazzolato e oliato naturale, mentre per il ristorante si è preferita la versione sbiancata per dare maggiore luminosità. Larice e pietra: materiali provenienti dalla natura, risvegliano i sapori di autenticità e tradizione tipici del borgo antico. In place of the old stable , dominated by the barn , was born the tavern with typical products and dishes . The old bakery instead was transformed into a loft , going to be added to the seven other houses . Some offer the service of bed and breakfast , others have kitchens for longer stays. Interesting alternation of stone and wood for the floors ; it was infact chosen a brushed and natural oiled Fiemme 3000 aged larch , while in the restaurant, it was preferred the bleached version , in order to to give more brightness. Larch and stone : materials from nature that awaken the flavors of authenticity and tradition in the old village.
