VIPP Flagship Store

n 1 December 2011 Vipp Flagship Store opened its doors in Ny Østergade 34 in Copenhagen. Here the complete Vipp collection is presented on 150 square meters - from the classic pedal bins to kitchen and bathroom modules. "Vipp is a company rooted in craftsmanship and our ambition has been to create a retail concept that reflects this tradition. Therefore we decided to develop the store concept on the same principle as if it was a Vipp product - unique through its function, materials and with a simple design. The listed building from 1908 is a great source of inspiration and is a stark contrast to the modern store design. The material palette contains both traditional joinery and metal crafts supplemented by a modern concrete floor and small architectural details." - Morten Bo Jensen, Chief Designer.
