The office of Commercial bank «Russian Mortgage Bank» is located in recently reconstructed ancient building, in the center of Moscow, near the Kremlin. The architects of «PANACOM» had a difficult task: on the one hand – to create a presentable, strict and laconic office space, emphasizing thus the status of the bank, and on the other – to keep a comfortable, cozy, welcoming atmosphere for clients. How to organize in a small space all the necessary areas, in which could be fully exist the bank? Abandoning the office and corridor planning, architects have focused on «the island», including the reception desks and meeting rooms. Around it there are all necessary zones: from open space (a reception, waiting areas, workplaces of employees) to the director's office. Flexible outlines of the huge central capsule set the tone for all interior. Translucent partitions, wooden decorative panels, flat round plafonds of lamps, strict leather furniture – all this reminds an interior of expensive, luxurious cruise liner or expensive submarine. All interior is sustained in restrained aristocratic gamut - different shades of brown, from golden to ashy, create an atmosphere of austerity (strictness) and comfort at the same time. Getting inside the building, the visitor draws attention to the fencing stairs, made according on detailed sketches of architects. Brass railings effectively emphasize a flexible plasticity design of stairs and expressively contrast with the texture of walls, decorated with micro-cement. Tinted partitions from glass of tea color and strict ceiling wooden panels look stylish and solidity. They set the rhythm to all space and form the image of the interior. Nothing disturbs the client and the staff of bank to conduct business negotiations: soft draperies allow to seclude for the solution of important tasks.
