This case is a skeleton renovation of a room in a 30-year-old apartment. A concrete volume has the plain but delicate texture appeared, when we peeled the wallpaper and removed the plasterboard. We considered carefully the materials and details for it's new life from now on. All the materials we selected, teak, oak, glass, Japanese paper, stainless, brass and vermiculite have a suitable quality and expression, and we assembled them appropriately. We inlayed the glass in the sleeve for equipment which became unnecessary. We tried to design a scenery where both the skeleton and the infill happen to be present at the same time. マンション1室のスケルトンリフォームである。 何回も更新された壁紙をめくり石膏ボードを取り除くと、素朴ながら細かい肌理感のコンクリートが現れた。その清々しい箱の中に当たり前の素材とディテールをこれから始まる新しい日常のために熟考した。 選び出したチーク、オーク、ガラス、和紙、ステンレス、真鍮、バーミュキライトは、どれもがそれを彩るのに十分な表情を持ち、これらを適切に組み立てた。 不要となったスリーブのいくつかにはガラスを象目し、エアコンの配管は真鍮製の一輪挿しの中を通した。 スケルトンとインフィルが同時に居合わせる様を描こうと試みている。 Architect : to.saigo＋ ninkipen!(今津康夫)
