Herbert Samuel restaurant in Herzliya : Roshfeld's new Kosher Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Herzliya . Restaurant design aspired to create intimate spaces as dynamic distribution of seating areas and maintaining the space. For this purpose, we designed an array of wooden screens capable of movement that allows guests to enjoy an intimate meeting space. Move partitions depending on the number of guests invited allows the creation of complexes defined and dynamic sitting. Top lighting system located above the porch pergola imagines sitting open to the sea and enhances the sense of open space. Lighting scenarios coming out from the ceiling and cabinets wine refrigerators creating the atmosphere throughout the day, that creates a relationship between natural sun light and artificial inside. At the end of the restaurant space, there is an open kitchen with two work counters used for breakfast . Open grill at night allows guests to witnesses the chef performance. The team is working on the stage of the kitchen and the chef becomes an actor. Three parameters: Mediterranean light - Located on the Mediterranean coast . As designers, we tried to project the qualities of light into the interior of the restaurant and to allow direct light from the west. A built shutters system, serves as a filter that allows the visitor to experience the Israeli light. Balance of light in space is created thanks to light boxes with reflective glass that uses natural light and put it back into the interior of the restaurant.
