The single family residence " o Tempo e a Sensação " , is located in a peripheral area of Braga , more precisely in the village of Palmeira. This village despite quite urbanized, still maintains a strong connection with nature , where the green area has a strong accent on the territory and where the existing buildings largely hold an architectural language of the 80`s with little architectural value .

Given these factors the conceptual approach for the building was to create an element of exception that distinguish our proposal from the remaining dwellings . On that matter we sit our assumption on a logical connection of two distinct realities , one marked by a historic time with architectural load and an intention / desire to establish the path that regenerates the urban mesh .

Thus, there is a need for integration and ownership of the architectural object with respect to the location where it will be integrated . So it was a clear demand of the conceptual draft, that the development of the building grow based on that logic, knowing that the materials used in the exterior cladding do the necessary connecting between the surrounding and the building.
