Cocktail Bar

Cocktail Bar is in a boutique thriller mall on Ratchadapisek Road. Mansion 7 is a most bizarre shopping and dining experience in Bangkok. Built as a dark old mansion, it welcomes the shoppers with an air conditioning-free hall, a giant spooky moon, an abandoned garden and a deserted haunted house in the background. Next to a most creepy installation, the haunted house’s entry, is the 120 square metres Cocktail Bar. To create a surreal drinking experience, the Bar is designed as an old factory producing figurines of small humanoid creature known as garden gnomes. The tale is that garden gnomes would come alive during the night to do gardening. They are diligent mythical creatures. In the Cocktail Bar, more than a hundred ceramic gnomes are lined up on industrial belts occupying the parallel walls. These lines would lead the customers to the iron spiral stair, the mezzanine floor, the VIP seating area and the DJ booth. Under the spiral stair, there is a light fixture that is high enough to accommodate gnomes. They also have a door of their own. A replica of the front door, in the gnome’s scale, is placed on the actual front door just in case that they want to go out. After work, the gnomes might return to Cocktail Bar and have a drink
