Museion, a museum of modern and contemporary art in Bolzano, Italy asked local designer Harry Thaler to furnish its new minimalist studio house. It should be a place for visiting artists and curators to stay. The designer said: "The facade of the studio house is made from very cold materials: aluminium and glas. The interior needed warmth." So he decided to work with pine wood and atmospheric light. He combines a workshop space with an area for study, relaxation and sleep. For a flexible use, Thaler equipped all the furniture pieces with wheels. The beds are created like little houses in the actual house, which keeps privacy even if there are staying more then one person at the time.
