A small house on the edge of Yzerfontein. The house sits on a gentle slope and has unobstructed views of the fynbos landscape. The idea was to create a simple living space which makes maximum use of the views the site offers. The roof reflects the slope and the bagged brick wall with minimum openings gives privacy from the future townhouses in the area and focuses the view to the unoccupied landscape of the nature reserve. All the rooms get light from two different angles (except the bathroom).
